Eagles fall (2-1)

This week, the eagles lost. Again, the biggest story of the game was turnovers. The Eagles committed too many, and the Cardinal defense played lights out, and didn’t allow a Eagle TD. Philly stayed in it though, until the last few seconds of the 1st half. When Vick was sack/stripped (which was returned for a touchdown). The momentum shifted, and the Eagles didn’t look the same again.

Vick was harassed all day, he didn’t get enough time some plays, then he took too much time other plays, which resulted in way too many hits on the quarterback.

After the loss, Reid didn’t give Vick a firm backing, which has caused some uproar. As I’ve said in earlier weeks, if the Eagles and Vick don’t limit those turnovers, they aren’t going to win very many games. And if that’s the case, Reid won’t have a job very much longer.

Next week is the Giants at home.
